I’m Kim — owner of HighPoint Bookkeeping and proud resident of Duncan. You’ll usually find me building spreadsheets or walking my two dogs.
But I also believe in building something deeper: community.
I started CVWC because I was craving real connection and shared laughter.
It’s not about business cards — it’s about belonging.
Thanks for being part of what we’re creating here.
CVWC is just getting started — and we need your ideas.
Want to host a coffee date, lead a walk, or plan a themed meetup?
You don’t need to be an expert, just someone who cares.
We’ll support you with encouragement, promo, and a bit of structure.
Let’s build something together — one gathering at a time.
This isn’t my group. It’s ours.
Please reach us at info@cowichanvalleywomen.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.
At this time, there is no cost to attend CVWC events.
Down the road, we may introduce small fees or donations to help cover venue rentals, insurance, or other shared costs — but for now, it’s simple:
Just show up and be part of it.
We’re gearing up to roll out our first events starting in September. Right now, we’re arranging venues, dates, activities and the community builders who will make it all happen. We're aiming for accessible, low-cost / no - cost spaces with good parking and minimal distractions. Expect a mix of daytime, evening, and weekend options so more people can join in. From cafés to community rooms, we’re keeping it local and welcoming.
Full schedule coming soon — and we’d love your ideas too!
We do have a website and a Facebook group to help people stay connected — but the heart of CVWC is in person. The goal is to create real-world spaces for women to gather, talk, laugh, and build community together. Online tools help us organize, but the magic happens face to face.
Come as you are — we’ll be glad to see you.
